IL CONSIGLIO DEI MINISTRI TRASFORMATO IN UN RING

LO HANNO FATTO VERAMENTE ARRABBIARE

Altro che Consiglio dei ministri. Enrico Letta, di solito calmo e compassato, ha trasformato la riunione di governo in un ring. Prima un gancio: «Sono stufo, e Napolitano è con me, di questi ricatti sulla questione giudiziaria di Berlusconi. A pagarne il prezzo sono gli italiani». Poi un diretto al volto: «Basta con gli aut aut e le divisioni, adesso mi dite se siete ancora ministri di questo governo o se non lo siete più». Infine un colpo basso: «Avete compiuto un’operazione vergognosa annunciando le dimissioni dei parlamentari mentre ero all’Onu, avete umiliato l’Italia. Ma dove caspita è il vostro senso della responsabilità?!». Non poteva mancare una minaccia d’addio: «Se non ci fosse questa legge elettorale mi sarei già dimesso… Comunque non ho alcuna intenzione di vivacchiare o di farmi logorare. O si rilancia il governo o è finita».

IL CLAMOROSO STOP
Ma soprattutto Letta ha congelato il decreto con la “manovrina”. Ha messo il Pdl nella scomodissima posizione di essere responsabile dell’aumento dell’Iva. «E se scatenerete la crisi sarete responsabili anche del pagamento dell’Imu e di una probabile crisi finanziaria. Guardate dov’è già schizzato lo spread…!».

Il ministro dell’Economia, Fabrizio Saccomanni, era arrivato a palazzo Chigi con la bozza di decreto bella e pronta. E nel testo c’era la “manovrina” da 3 miliardi. Sia il pareggio di bilancio, sia il rinvio dell’Iva con la discutibile operazione sull’accisa per la benzina. Ma Letta, appunto, ha stoppato il provvedimento: «Non sarebbe serio fare un provvedimento che vale miliardi senza garanzie di continuità dell’azione di governo. Al momento non ci sono le condizioni politiche per andare avanti, prima di ogni cosa deve avvenire in Parlamento un chiarimento inequivoco». Della serie: voglio un sostegno pieno e definitivo o salta tutto. E fino ad allora, fino al voto di fiducia previsto per martedì, l’attività di governo è congelata.

Alfano ha provato ad ammortizzare la batosta. E l’ha fatto puntando l’indice contro l’aumento delle accise per la benzina: «Bene il rinvio del decreto, non potremmo stare al governo se si aumentassero le tasse e non si tagliassero le spese». Parole che il vicepremier, secondo Saccomanni, non avrebbe dovuto pronunciare. Tant’è che per la prima volta il ministro dell’Economia ha replicato duro: «Sto facendo solo il mio dovere, difendere i conti. Invece da mesi vengo attaccato».

C’è da dire che la resa dei conti è cominciata mezz’ora prima della riunione. Appena sceso dal Quirinale, Letta ha convocato Dario Franceschini e i capi delegazione del Pdl Alfano, Maurizio Lupi e Gaetano Quagliariello. Trenta minuti di faccia a faccia in cui il premier ha usato i toni ripetuti nella riunione plenaria. Forse con più durezza, visto che Quagliariello, raccontano, «è uscito dalla sala con la faccia stravolta». «Sembrava sotto shock…».

LO SCONTRO SULLA GIUSTIZIA
A innescare lo scontro è stato Alfano che ha chiesto di inserire «la questione della giustizia» nel chiarimento: «Altrimenti non si va da nessuna parte, altrimenti il chiarimento sarebbe ipocrita e servirebbe solo per tirare a campare». E ha aggiunto il vicepremier: «Questo governo l’ha voluto il Pdl e il Pdl non si fa scaricare la responsabilità di un’eventuale crisi». Più chiaro: «E’ tutta colpa dei democrat, della loro cecità, che li spinge a votare sì alla decadenza» del Cavaliere.

Il primo a reagire è stato Franceschini. Il ministro Pd non ha usato giri di parole: «Volete la giustizia nel chiarimento?! Per voi giustizia significa un salvacondotto per Berlusconi. Ma la legge va rispettata, visto che siamo in uno Stato di diritto. Vogliamo un chiarimento definitivo e per definitivo intendiamo che il Pdl, nel caso dovesse votare la fiducia al governo la prossima settimana, non torni a chiedere l’immunità.
