  1. It is interesting to note that the EU Commission has approved the use of these two drugs in combination to treat patients with Hepatitis C. But also proven effective on patients that are HIV positive or those with potential problems due to cirrhosis of the liver.
It will be seen if patients that take the two drugs in tandem will truly make the liver almost like new. I guess the jury is still out on that issue. I think this is a great development for the potential treatment of not only Hepatitis C patients. It is a long time in coming and so far proven very effective.

A question though is the medication still under evaluation by the entire EU community? And would it yield much more interesting and good results. Cirrhosis is also linked to those who imbibe (drink) far to much and the alcohol does far to much damage to the liver which is often irreversible.

This article presents excellent and informative information and educates those of us who many know little about this process and what actually is in development.

I look forward to learning and hearing more about this.

plus the graphics and links provided are also a big help

    thank you.
